10.10.2017 PSOAS office closed on Tuesday the 10th

PSOAS office is closed on Tuesday the 10th of October due to a staff occasion. On Wednesday the 11th the office will be open as usual.

29.9.2017 PSOAS to renew tenants’ internet service!

PSOAS tenants have been using the CampusNet internet service (earlier CampusBaana) for over a decade now. Beginning on the 1st of January 2018 the CampusNet service will be replaced by a solution managed completely by the internet operator DNA. The current CampusNet hardware is gradually becoming obsolete and starting to set limitations on bandwidths, which was one of the main reasons for giving up the CampusNet.

From the beginning of 2018 the basic internet connection included in the rent will be 100/100 Mb. Tenants can also choose to have a 200/20 Mb connection for 14,90 €/month or 1000/100 Mb for 34,90 €/month. The cost of the higher bandwidth will be paid to DNA.

We hope that our new internet service will improve our tenants’ housing experience. More instructions for using the new service will be available later this year.

20.9.2017 Housing application validity period to be changed

The validity period of PSOAS housing applications will be changed from 90 to 60 days at the beginning of October. Typical waiting times today are shorter than before and, moreover, an automated reminder feature has been introduced. A reminder about the expiry of an application is sent automatically to the applicant’s e-mail. This way, applicants will know when to renew their application if necessary.

After the change there will be fewer unnecessary applications on the waiting lists and the offering process will be more efficient. For the applicants this should mean shorter waiting times and better service.

12.9.2017 Welcome new tenants!

A new academic term has begun and over a thousand new tenants have moved into PSOAS apartments. We wish both new and old tenants a great semester!

To get in touch with the PSOAS staff see the contact information here. The accommodation office deals with applications and tenancy agreements whereas the property supervisors take care of apartments, their surroundings and upkeep. The resident’s guide answers most of the common housing questions you might have and makes eveyday life easier. If you need assistance or guidance but don’t know who to approach just pick someone from the staff. We will be happy to find the right contact for you.
