6.11.2017 Internal applicants’ priority for studios to be abolished

PSOAS tenants have had a priority over other applicants for studios. The priority dates back to times when really few studios were available and there were a lot more shared apartments than today.

Beginning on the 15th of November new internal applications will no longer be accepted. Those who already have an internal application on the waiting list, will have their priority until they have been offered an apartment or the application has expired. Once the internal waiting list for studios becomes empty, it will be abolished and studios will be applied for just like any other apartments. Whether the applicant already lives at PSOAS or not will not make a difference. Instead, the date of application determines the applicant’s rank on the waiting list.

The change is made to simplify the application practices and update them to better meet the current housing situation.
